QUALITY ASSURANCE TECHNICIAN

Responsibilities:
These quality checks must be performed at scheduled time intervals.
Notify Supervision about non-conforming products.
Perform other duties as directed by QA Supervisor.
Responsibilities and Position requirements in () are additional for the Deboning Operator only.
All QA operators must be able to work in any given department where he/she is assigned or trained as instructed by Supervisor.
Perform any or all of the duties listed below:
HACCP and SSOP checks USDA net weights, NPIS compliance and Chiller moisture Customer-specific quality checks (Deboning Quality Checks) POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
In addition to meeting the requirements for new employees, the employee must also meet the following requirements:
Ability to read and interpret calculators, scales, and thermometers Ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fraction and percentage operations Knowledge of pounds, ounces, kilograms, grams, and other graduation of weight, volume and length Ability to work well with others Ability to work preoperational hours and varied hours each day Persons working in Deboning must be able to lift heavy weights up to 50 pounds such as:
USDA and in plant net weights Deboning containers for quality and weight checks Recommended Skills Food Safety Scales Team Working Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
